Yes. All validations are performed within the European Union and we do not store any validation data. Our service is built around GDPR principles: data minimisation, EU-only processing and no unnecessary retention.

The address API offers two modes: Lookup (enter a postcode and house number to receive the full address instantly) and Autocomplete (type-ahead search that suggests addresses as the user types). Both are real-time and backed by official government data.

The email API checks: syntax validation (RFC standards), domain validation (does the domain and MX record exist?), mailbox validation (is the address actually deliverable?) and detection of disposable email addresses and spam traps.

The phone API returns: validity of the number, formatted versions (national and international), country of origin, line type (mobile or landline) and the telecom provider (where available).

The licence plate API validates Dutch plates via the official RDW database and returns: brand, model, colour, year of manufacture, fuel type, engine capacity, number of doors and MOT expiry date.

Yes, address validation optionally returns the latitude and longitude of the address, so you can directly work with location services or maps.

Your dashboard at app.apicheck.nl shows your remaining credits in real-time, usage history and a breakdown by API type. You can also set email alerts when your balance falls below a threshold you choose.

Yes, with a single API key you can serve multiple websites and applications. You can also create multiple API keys per project for clarity and control. Add allowed domains via your dashboard.

First check that your API key is entered correctly and that your domain is allowed in your account settings. Then consult the documentation at docs.apicheck.nl. If that does not resolve it, contact us at support@apicheck.nl.

Your API key is available in your dashboard at app.apicheck.nl under "API keys". Here you can also create new keys or revoke existing ones.

You can use the 200 free credits to thoroughly test the API. Your dashboard also provides access to API logs to inspect and debug individual calls.

We typically respond within one business day via email (support@apicheck.nl). For urgent technical issues we aim for a response time of a few hours during business hours.

We offer ready-made plugins for WooCommerce (address and email validation at checkout), Magento 2 and Contact Form 7. All plugins are available free of charge via our website and GitHub.

Send an HTTP request to the desired endpoint with your API key as a header (x-api-key). All responses are in JSON format. Full documentation and code examples in PHP, JavaScript, Python and more are available at docs.apicheck.nl.

Always store your API key server-side, never in client-side code or public repositories. Add your allowed domains in your dashboard so the key can only be used from your own domains. In case of misuse, you can immediately revoke the key.

Yes! ApiCheck has official integrations with n8n, Zapier and Make (formerly Integromat). This allows you to include address and email validation in your workflows without writing code.

Yes, we offer official SDKs for PHP (including a Laravel package and Symfony bundle) and a JavaScript client. All SDKs are open-source and available via GitHub.

Validation endpoints use GET requests. Address autocomplete also supports POST for more complex queries. All communication takes place over HTTPS.
